CHICKEN KEEPING ADVICE WITH BURY GREEN POULTRY & DOGTOR ADEM
THURSDAY 1ST DECEMBER
10:30AM TO 12:30PM
So you may be wondering why, as a canine behaviourist, I might be attending this event! If you have followed me for a while you will know that I also keep chickens, and that I am a huge advocate for safe and controlled introductions and management of dogs around chickens, other birds we might keep or encounter, other pets, and of course wildlife. In our modern day life, we often expect our dogs to be able to safely get along with other pets we love and keep, be able to enjoy both park and country walks, and this is exactly what I will be talking about in my demonstration at Bury Green Poultry’s event on Thursday 1st December - how to ensure harmony between our beloved dogs and other pets we might keep.
Alongside my demonstration, the following will also be included:
- Tea and cake on arrival
- Talk by Claudia focusing on winter care for your hens & managing chickens in the current AI outbreak followed by a Q&A
- An eggciting raffle!
- Meet other chicken keeping enthusiasts and some of the BGP birds (there will be no direct contact with the birds due to the current bird flu situation)
There is free parking on site.
And you can learn more about Claudia Audley and Bury Green Poultry by following @burygreenpoultry on Instagram!
Hope to see you there!
